Community Groups

GUC enjoys connecting with people and has a range of activities where people can have fun, learn a new skill or just get to know people.

Community Lunch is on each Wednesday from 11am until 1pm - come along and enjoy a welcoming community while eating a delicious meal.

Men’s Breakfast enjoy a cooked breakfast, cafe quality coffee, support and encouragement from 8am every Wednesday morning in the activity centre.

WOW - Women of Worth meets monthly on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12 noon. Guest speakers and fellowship over morning tea.

Quilting Group meets 10am -1:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month to provide support and outreach while enjoying the art of quilting.

GUC Walkers and Strollers meets Monday at 8:15am over summer and 8:30am for the rest of the year for friendship and fun while exercising .

Youth United meets Tuesdays during school term from 4pm to 6:30pm. Games, Homework Support, Snacks and Christian Teaching for youth in years 6, 7 and 8.

Clyde Ziegeler - River of Life Pastor

Clyde felt a call to pastor the River of Life congregation after a need was identified to provide an avenue for those who find the hymns of earlier times more inspirational.

The River of Life community meets at 10.30am every Friday for a traditional worship service, followed by a time of fellowship over morning tea. Communion is incorporated in the service on the second Friday each month.
